Painting on Auction!!!

Well, here I am, as promised with a painting on ebay. I have never auctioned off anything before much less a painting. This should prove out to be an interesting week. Perhaps it wont sell at all, now how will I feel about that??? Oh well, as the old saying goes.... Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Anyway, I hope someone comes along who would like to own it. If you like the painting, it IS a great opportunity to own it for small change.... If you would like to buy it outright, just get in touch with me, we will work out something....

Ah well, off to work on yet another painting. While I am painting, you should go drop off a bid on the painting.... heeheeeee.

An introduction and my plans...

Hello, I am pleased that you are here to get to know a little about me and my plans. Like I said on Myspace, I am an artist in a hurry. I suffered with panic disorder most of my life and only in the past 2 years have regained some semblance of life. I began painting fine art again this February. I feel like I have arrived home after a long, lonely, perilous trip.

If you have looked, I mean really looked, at any of my paintings, the vast majority of them are about me and my life. Hopefully this phase will soon pass, and I will be painting many many different things. My style tends toward surreal, and symbolic, although I will always make time for the occasional Victorian portrait.

I am heading into a series of paintings about psychological disorders. I thought this to be an interesting step from my own past into the next thing. I will intermittently do some "eye candy" paintings, and again, the occasional Victorian portrait.

I am planning on selling some origonal artwork on E-Bay. If it goes well, I will sell as much on E-Bay as is wanted. I am hoping to have the first painting up for auction within the week. I will post it here in my journal, and also on Myspace.

My next painting will be called Split Personality. It will be a fun look at the dreaded disorder. I am off now to begin the sketching phase, and hopefully will have the finished painting ready to be viewed by the end of the week.

Thankyou for stopping in. If you ever have any questions or things you would like to talk about, feel free to contact me via the website.

It is so nice to meet you....

grinning,
